just before her death she unsuccessfully sued her step-son William Howlett, in the course of which suit Thomas Dorman deposed that Ensign Thomas Howlett did not meddle with the geese and turkey's which belonged to his second wife "for she hath been and is a good wife to me" [Ref: Anderson GreatMigrationI p1027]
