there is confusion concerning the date of his death; shown as 4 Aug 1358 on his tomb, which is probably incorrect because Cecil Foljambe, Lord Liverpool, had the tomb restored in the 1870s and replaced the missing brass inscription with a new one. Note in 1881 give original text of the brass, showing date as 2 Aug 1383 [Ref: John Watson SGM 4/12/2015-233436]
