appears in the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle under the year 991, apparently fighting in the Battleo fMaldon in that year. [Ref: Stewart Baldwin SGM 3/26/1997]

994: Olaf and Svcein attacked London, but Olaf promised never to return to England in hostility [Ref: Stewart Baldwin SGM 3/26/1997]

(according to Adam of Bremen) defeated by Svein of Denmark, and committed suicide by throwing himself into the sea [Ref: Stewart Baldwin SGM 3/26/1997]
