4 Apr 1763: presented a claim to an alleged Barony of La Poer, alleging that it was a Barony in fee, to which she was heir general. The alleged but fictitious Barony was confirmed to her and her heirs, 19 Dec 1767, in right of her "descent from her grandfather Richard, who sat and voted in Parliament as Baron la Poer ... Whether a resolution of the Irish House of Lords, confirmed by the Crown, that a lady was entitled to a Barony which never existed had the effect of creating such a Barony or of making the lady a Baroness is open to question."
