In the name god Amen The Twentie daye of Novemb[e]r in the first yere of
our Soveraigne Ladye quene Marie /. I Persivall Skerne in good helthe of mynde
and bodye make this daye my last will and Testament / First I bequeathe my
soule to god the father Almightie and to our Ladye seynt Mary and to all the
holye companye of heaven / And my bodye to be buried at the pleasure of my
Executrix the whiche I make my Wief full executrix /. And my sonne Marlowe and
my sonne Oleffe myne Overseers /. first I bequeath to the highe Aulter for
myne Oblac’ion vj s viij d I will that my wief have my three howses
w[i]t[h] all th[e]apprten[a]nc[e]s at Thestilworth and my lease of my Howsys
and gardens in southwerke for the terme of her Lief / And after her
dep[ar]tinge I will the saide Howses at Thistilworth and lease at southwerke I
will that the said houses and lease to my daughter sperts Children to Mary
Thomas and Persivall/ and to my daughter Marleye and my daughter gelberds[?]

will that my Wife make Mary Sperts stock at her mariage fiftie poundes /. I
