These two boys (Caleb and Robert) were sent to America to live with their Aunt
Susan (Rothschild) and Uncle William. They sailed from London 9 May 1635 on
the ship "Elizabeth Ann" commanded by Capt Roger Cooper, and landed at
Plymouth [Ref: Bartz BLY p170]
entry in Aunt Susan's diary: "In 1635, Robert and Caleb Carr, husband's
brother Benjamin Carr's two sons, were sent over from London to live with
their Uncle William, my husband. We had fine times hunting with the Indians,
they were very friendly to us. Our bedding and clothing were nearly all skin
