married a professed nun from Wimborne Minster, Dorset; her name is unknown [Ref: Weir RoyalFam p8]

no evidence that he left descendants, but if he did they must have lived in Northumbria or East Anglia, where he fled after his revolt and was accepted as a Danish leader, and not in the southern or western shires. [Ref: Barlow Godwine p32]
