1072-92: gave to the abbey of St Sauveur-le-Vicomte the churches of Percy with their tithes and the tithe of the whole rent, a gift that indicates that he held Percy in demense [Ref: CP X p435(b)]

from the vicomte the fee of Percy passed by marriage to the family of Tesson and thence to William Paynel, a younger son of the Paynels of Hambye [Ref: CP X p435(b)]
