called Anne in the will of her husband and in his IPM, and "sister Anne Gyffard" in the will of her brother-in-law Sir George Gifford in 1556, and called "Agnes" in will of her father 24 Aug 1558, and "Agnes" in her own will dated 18 Aug 1581, but states that she is commonly called Anne [Ref: Moriarty Gifford p137]
