possibly the Malgar de STAUNTON, kinsman ('cognatus') of Robert de MUSCHAMP (son of Hugh, a D'Aincourt tenant at Muskamp, Nottinghamshire), who with his uncles Robert and Andrew attested a surrender to Archbishop Roger of York on 18 Feb 1173 [Ref: Keats-Rohan DD p607]
