appears in a plea brought in 1203 as grandfather of Stephen II de Belloampo, and tenant of de Clare at Bures, Alphameston, Bulmer, Hempstead, and Henney. Also held the lands once held by Turold of Ranulf Peverel in the escheated barony of Peverel of London at Great Henney and Lammarsh, Essex.
