1666: legatee in will of her son Walter Aston; inherited a tract called "The Level" [Ref: Richardson RoyalAnc v1p182]

care should be taken to distinguish Walter Aston's widow, Hannah, from a contemporary Hannah Hill, widow of Richard Hill, of Surry County, Virginia, who requested on 14 Jan 1656 that administration be granted on her late husband's estate to a brother-in-law, Capt George Jordan. That the two women were separate and distince is indicated by the fact that Walter Aston's wife, Hannah, married secobd after 8 Dec 1660 Edward Hill (not Richard Hill), and that Walter Aston's widow Hannah was the administrator of Walter Aston's will, not Capt George Jordan.
