reneged on an agreement made between the two of them on "the fyfte day of
January now last past in the Cytie of Norwyche" to lease him marshland known

In the name of god Amen the year of our Lord god a thousand five hundred
three score and tenne the xvjth daye of the moneth of Julye, and in the xijth
yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Ladie Quene Elizabeth etc. I Christofer
Jenney of Dunwiche in the countie of Suffolk gentelman doe ordeyne and make
this my last will and testament in maner and forme followinge repelinge herby
and utterlie revokinge all former wills and testamentes heretofore by me made
First I bequethe my soule to allmightie god my maker and redeamer under the
lawes of whose ost holie churche I protests my selfe to dye an humble an
dpenitent synner for my synnes commytted, and my bodie to be buryed in the
holie churche of Sainte Marye in Burye St Edmonde within the countie
aforsaied. First I give and bequeath unto Avys Jenney my wyfe all my landes
and tenementes both freholde and coppie hold sette lieng and being in
Westelton Dunwiche and within the hamlet o fDingle duringe her naturall life
upon condition that she shall dischardge the purchase therefo that is behind
and unpaied, And yf she have a child by me then I will my sayed child shall
have all my foresayed landes after the deathe of my sayd wyffe to him and to
his heyers for ever upon condition as is aforesaied, excepted and reserved
owte of the forsaied landes unto Fraunces Jenney by brother duringe his

of Dingley after the death of hi ssaied wyef Avys Jenney should for the space
of the thre next years after his said wyves deathe be taken receied and
devyded by and amongest all the children of the same Avys then livinge which
she had by her first husband in consyderation of ther fathers goodes that came
to his handes not withstandinge the gyfte of all the foresayde landes after
