Research Notes:
Obituary from the Ottawa Free Trader, 5 Dec 1988: Cora J. Drackley, 83, of rural Marseilles, died Monday Morning, December 5th at her home. Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Marseilles with the Rev. Richard Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Seals-Campbell Chapel in Marseilles.
Mrs. Drackley was born September 7, 1905 in Miller Township, to George and Ann (Solberg) Jelm she married Lawrence Drackley Of Seneca in 1931. She was member of the United Methodist Church and the Nichol Cemetery Association.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Howard of Lisle and Edward of rural Marseilles; four grandchildren and two sisters, Gladys Chapman of Ottawa and Ruth Barrett of Blue Springs, MO. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Chruch in Marseilles. [Ref: Ray Brodbeck 7/29/2008]
