Research Notes:
member of the Norman branch of the descendants of Radulf de Greinville.
Radulf held a single manor in Domesday Buckinghamshire from Walter Giffard,
and attested a charter for Cerisy by Walter Giffard before 1087. Subsequently
there were separate English and Norman branches of the family, suggesting that
Ralph was succeeded by two sons. The Norman branch included Eustache fitz
Eustache de Greinville [Ref: Keats-Rohan DP p333]
kinsman of Gerard de GREINVILLE, who was son or grandson of Domesday Ralph de
Greinville [Ref: Keats-Rohan DD p484]
