Research Notes:
Arthur Adams claims that Elizabeth, wife of Richard Hall, was the daughter of Katherine Grene by her second husband, Sir Edmund Rede. He offers no explanation of his reasoning, merely alleging that the editor of the Boarstall Cartulary was in error when the latter called her Katherine's daughter by her first husband. An analysis of Sir Edmund Rede's testament shows that Elizabeth was not his daughter. [Ref: Hansen Wodhull p72]
