there is no evidence to explain why Henry obtained the lands of Crick [Ref: Sanders Baronies p38(1)]

his estates in England were controlled by his mother until her death in 1215-16; then they were granted to the Earl of Surry in 1217, but in 1226 they went to John de Stuteville [Ref: Sanders Baronies p38]
