Research Notes:
The identification of John Prescott of Lancaster, Mass. with the son, John, of Ralph of Shevington is still challenged. See TAG 34: 180 and elsewhere. While evidence is not conclusive, the alternatives are not conclusive, either. This line requires further work. [Ref: Weis AR7 #34]
