1745: joined the newly construted St Michael's Zion and Lutheran Church [Ref: John Cope 5/4/2007]

Jacob and his sons were brick layers, and built a large home in Philadelphia which is now a museum. It seems that Thomas Jefferson rented an upstairs suite for 17 days and that is where he drafted the Declaration of Independence. It has been restored and is open to the public [Ref: Bill Nevling 4/4/2003]
