In the name of God Amen. I Adam Musser of the Village of Reamstown Lancaster County being old but of sound mind memory and understanding do make this my last will and Testament in the following manner, First I give and bequeath my soul in the hands of God who gave it and my body to the earth to be interred at the discretion of my hereinafter named Executor. Further I give and bequeath unto my wife Christina as much household and kitchen furniture as she wishes to keep for her use together with two beds which are in the room where I now live in during her lifetime, likewise the privilege of occupying said backroom where I now live and privilege to the kitchen for her use and as much in the garden as she wants as many apples as she may want for her use and for drying also a barrel of cider if there any apples on the premises stable room for a cow and hay furnished for her in winter and pasture for a cow in summer, this to be allowed and given to wife Christina by any person who may after my decease possess the property whereon I at present live as long as my wife lives every year. Further I order that the house wherein I now live together with the tanyard and the lots of ground whereon they are built with the other buildings shall be appraised by three respectable men chosen by my sons and sons in law after said men have appraised the value thereof my son William shall have a right to take the same at the appraisement, but if he refuses to take the same at the appraisement then my Executors shall sell the same at public vendue as soon as it can be conveniently done thereafter to the highest and best bidder, and the rest of my property both real and personal shall be sold at vendue as soon as conveniently can be done after my decease. On my real estate other than my dwelling house and tanyard shall be sold with a lien to remain thereon for the use of my wife Christina of six hundred pounds whereof my said wife shall have the interest every year, and immediately after her death the interest and principal shall be paid. I further give and bequeath unto my son William one bed and bedstead now standing in the front room on my house. I also give and bequeath unto my son John one bed and bedstead, standing on the garret in the house where I at present live. If my wife should be in need of any money before she can receive any of the interest from the six hundred pounds bequeathed to her as a dower, receiving therefrom the interest my hereafter named Executors shall supply her with as much money as she has need for, and deduct the same again from her dower when the same is to be paid. I further order that all the rest of my property, or any of my property left after my debts bequests and funeral expenses are paid, shall be equally divided amongst my children, or their heirs share and share alike, any one of my children to have as much as the other, having regard nevertheless to such sum or sums of money as I have already given as will appear by bonds and notes given by them to me as well as for charges made against them in my book. I also give and bequeath unto my wife Christina the house clock, desk, and all my books. I further nominate and appoint my son William Musser and John Ruth my Executors. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 15th day of January one thousand eight hundred and twenty three. Adam Mosser.

Lancaster County SS. On the 13th day of February Anno Domini 1823 personally appeared before me the subscriber Doctor Frederick Ziegler and Benjamin Bauman Esq, the subscribing witnesses to the within will and the said Frederick Ziegler on his corporal oath and the said Benjamin on his solemn affirmation according to law did depose declare and say that they saw Adam Musser the Testator therein named sign seal and heard him publish pronounce and declare the same as and for his last will and Testament and that at the time of the doing thereof he was of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding according to the best of their knowledge observation and belief. Be it remembered that on the 13th day of February Anno Domini 1823 The last will and Testament of Adam Musser deceased was proved in due form of law and Letters testamentary thereon were granted to William Musser and John Ruth the Executors therein named, they having been duly qualified well and truly to administer the estate of the said Deceased, and especially to exhibit a true and perfect Inventory thereof into the Register's Office at Lancaster within one month and render a just and true account of their Executorship on said estate in one year or when thereto lawfully required.
