Research Notes:
moved with brother Robert to Cumberland Co, PA about 1755, and some time later went to Kentucky. [Ref: McCoy STURGEON p182]

He was a soldier of the Revolutionary War, in Captain Jonathan Robeson's Company, Colonel Samuel Cuthberson. Battalion of Associators and Militia. In service January, 1778. Pa. Arch. 2nd Ser. Vol 15, pp590-592 [Ref: McCoy STURGEON p182, McCoy STURGEON p229]
