Research Notes:
Savage stated that David "by wife Elizabeth had David, born 6 Apr 1649, but
mother and child died soon; by wife Dorcas had David b 6 Apr 1650" Only
relevent birth entry in Cambridge vital records is for "David, s of David and
Elizabeth, Apr 6, 1650" with no death record for a supposed first wife
Elizabeth. Note the day for both sons was identical. J Gardner Bartlett noted
that the eldest "child is recorded as son of David and Elizabeth Stone; but a
careful study of the matter indicates that the name of the wife here given was
a clerical error" [Ref: Anderson GreatMigrationII v5p550]
