1155: stated that not only his father, but his ancestors, had held Little Melton. Since Ralph son of Godric was certainly living as late as 1134, therefore either his father or earlier ancestor had married one who became ultimately heir of the Godric fees [Ref: CP XI p412(b)]

his unnamed son, presumably a minor, was tenant of half a fee of the bishop of Ely in 1166 [Ref: Keats-Rohan DD p594]
