The last will and testament of Christian Newkomet, deceased, being wrote in the German Language and therefore cannot be Recorded but thereon is endorsed as follows
Lancaster County SS. On the 19th day of March Anno Domini 1805 Before me the Subscriber personally appeared Bentz Hershey and Isaac Kauffman the two subscribing witnesses to the within will, who upon their solemn affirmations according to law did severally declare and say that they were present and saw and heard Christian Newkomet the testator therein named sign seal publish pronounce and declare the within Instrument in writing as and for his last will and testament and that at the doing thereof he was of sound and well disposing mind memory and understanding according to the best of their knowledge observation and belief. Be it remembered that on the 19th day of March Anno Domini 1805 the last will and testament of Christian Newkomet late of Manor township in the County of Lancaster deceased was proved in due form of law and Letters Testementary thereon were granted to David Mellinger and Jacob Hershey the Executors therein named, they having first been duly qualified well and truly to administer the estate of the said deceased, especially to exhibit a true and perfect Inventory thereof into the Registers office at Lancaster within one month and to render a true and just account of their Executorship on said estate in one year from this date or which thereto lawfully required. Given under the seal of said Office, G. Ross, Register. [Ref: LancasterCoPA Wills I-363]

Lancaster County PA Orphans Court Records of 24 Apr 1807:
David Mellinger and Jacob Hershey Executors of the last Will and Testament of Christian Newcomer late of Manor Township, deceased, having stated and filedin the Registrers Office at Lancaster their Admin Account on the Estate of the said deceased, and legal notice thereof being given by the said Register, the Same is now produced to the Court fo Confirmation whereby it appears that the said account was duly passed by the said Register and that there remains in the hands of the said Accountants a Balands of L4367..15..8 1/4. The Court on due examination thereof and advisement had thereon approve and Confirm the same and direct that the Balance after deducting therefrom 11/3 the expences of this Court, the remainder thereof amounting to L4367..4..5 1/4 be paid and distributed agreeably to the Will of the Testator [Ref: LancasterCoPA OrphansCt 24 Apr 1807]
