Research Notes:
heiress of her brother, King Cyngen, who died 855 [Ref: Moncreiffe RoyalAnc p10]

given in "JC.18" as Nest, daughter of King Cadell of Powys. She, like Angharad, appears to be a late invention, for reasons which are the same as for Angharad. See "SW". Since Nest never existed, the supposed line of descent through her from the kings of Powys is probably not valid. [Ref: Stewart Baldwin SGM 7/27/1997]
