accepted by Eckhardt as dau of Dagobert II but believed by Hlawitsche to be dau of Hugobert and Irma (Identification of Adele's parents depends on a forged charter) [Ref: Weis AR7 #240]

Please, people, there are no scholarly-accepted descents from the Merovingian kings to the present day (or to turn-of-the millennium nobility at all). For the best-documented accounts of their known descendants, with some discussion (and bibliography) of alleged descents to later people (in the footnotes at relevant sections) see Christian Settipani's _La prehistoire des Capetiens_. It is available in major university librarys and should be accessible through interlibrary loan. I have discovered that it is near impossible to buy directly... No one should have "Merovingian lines" in their databases without first examining this book, its enormous footnotes and bibliography, first. [Ref: Nat Taylor SGM 1/26/1996]

Adele was probably not the daughter of Dagobert, but rather of the count palatine Hugobert (d. 697/8). See "Die Vorfahren Karls des Grossen" by Hlawitschka, in the four volume "Karl der Grosse", vol 1, pp 51ff. [Ref: Stewart Baldwin SGM 8/2/1996]
